What is the Artisan's OB&GYN Software Package? It is an application that accumulates results of ultrasound examinations, both structured results, text and images. The examinations are accumulated in a data base under a patient's name than can be reviewed by the Artisan's user any time. Who Should Use it?> OB&GYN sonologists and sonographers who perform Obstetrics and Gynecological ultrasound examinations. What examinations can be stored in the Artisan OB&GYN package? The system has preplanned forms of all relevant exams ( see list of exams). The forms are presented in dedicated windows with check boxes and radio buttons that are easy and intuitive to use. How does it help users? Besides keeping patient's medical history the exams can be printed in a report form that is sent to the patient's doctor. What is the workstation hardware configuration? A very basic PC that runs under Win98 or Win2000 workstation. The video images are captured by numerous video capture devices that Artisan knows to work with. Where Artisan is being used? In Israel by several hospitals and private clinics. How many examinations have been performed to this date? About 500,000 examinations so that the system is thoroughly debugged. How do I perform image capture? By clicking the "Camera Icon"or using keyboard shortcut Also a remote gamepad can be used when Artisan workstation is away from its machine. Can I import images? Ultrasound images can be imported from the 3.5" drive or from any other device that the PC has access to (e.g. external digital scanner or a video capture system) How do I customize the printed reports? The header and footer of a printed report can be customized by the user. Additional customization can be performed by Artisan Sonics Ltd. Where is the data being kept? The accumulated data is being kept in the system's standard data base that is the data depository of the Artisan's application. This means that if the user decides at some later date to switch to another OB&GYN application all accumulated data can be easily accessed and converted by every computer proffesional. How do I back up the data? By backing up the Artisan system data that reisdes in standard Windows directory. |
