Online Images and Data Acquisition

Images are captured by a frame grabber that hooks to video out of the ultrasound machine. Whenever the user decides to save an images a simple push of a button makes it. Measurements data can be imported from ultrasound machines that support automatic data transfer. The Windows based system enables a completely filmless and paperless work environment. It can be configured as a standalone system or extended to collaborate with several other Artisan workstations that reside on the same network. It's reporting solution features a structured database architecture, which runs on commonly available data base.

Reports Generation

Reports are completed step by step. First the patient demographics are inserted into the patient file, then the findings are entered during the exam either manually or by automatically importing information from the ultrasound system through the serial data port. Finally, the physician adds his diagnosis and recommendations.

Point and click report preparation is more efficient and accurate than handwritten notes. A "normal" diagnosis can be completed with a few quick keystrokes. If more details are required, users can type comments directly into the form. Artisan supports reports customization tools that accomodates user's preferences.
